About APTA 2006 > Conference
Chair's Welcome Message |
 |
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Technical Program Committee, I am
very pleased to welcome and invite you to join the 2005
Pacific-Rim Conference on Multimedia (PCM 2005), the sixth annual
conference on cutting-edge multimedia technologies. PCM 2005 will be held in
Jeju Island, Korea, from November 13 to 16, 2005.
The conference will feature the latest developments in multimedia from
technical and artistic perspectives, and discuss likely trends with leading
technical specialists from all over the world. We are confident to continue the
tradition of excellence in PCM 2005 with some 200 selected papers, in addition
to the tutorial sessions and plenary lectures. Thus, please join us and
exchange your innovative ideas and rich experience with other distinguished
participants across the world.
Jeju Island, where the conference will be held, is one of the most famous and
beautiful tourist resorts in Korea, which is only an hour flight from Seoul,
Korea. Jeju Island has a mild oceanic climate throughout the year with the
smallest annual temperature range in the country. It offers breathtaking
coastline, outstanding beaches, and various cultural attractions. Thus we urge
you to take advantage of this wonderful setting of conference site.
Once again, I am honored to host PCM 2005 in Korea and very pleased to invite
you to PCM 2005 and look forward to meeting you at Jeju in the middle of
November, 2005. |
